On August 10, 2022, as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, the Forest Research Institute (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, conducted an essay writing competition. The topic of the competition was “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav: 75 years of Independence”. A total of 82 students from MSc. courses took part in the competition. The goal of this competition was to create awareness among the students about the evolutionary journey of 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.
